Cutting for Stone

Thanks Sheri for a great night starting off with the youTube interview with Abraham Verghese and ending with  a taste of Ethiopia and some wonderful desserts.

  1. Phyllis this is great! Thanks so much for pulling us gently into the 21st century! I feel so techno-savvy right now!

Anyway, you left out my book club selection from last September which was "Middlesex"

Sheri, I thoroughly enjoyed the book and your wonderful hospitality. The book was a really good selection and I applaud your ambition to actually research and prepare some Ehthiopian dishes.

  3. This blog is really cool. It took me a while to figure out how to follow, but I did it! Thanks Phyllis for setting this up. It will help all to be informed.

Sheri, I really got into the characters and enjoyed reading this book. Thanks for hosting an Ethiopian food experience that went along with the story. Yummy!

PS Phyllis, you could add my book "The English American" to the list of books read also. Thanks.
